Objectives:
To promote the Overland Gold project and in particular the DIY Travel Guide To generate interest in centres along the route/s and to highlight the involvement of the Cornish

Dates: Monday 27 May – Thursday 30 May 2013 inclusive, to coincide with the return to Victoria of visitors to South Australia for the Kernewek Lowender Festival

To allow time to visit some of the sites of interest and to spread the driving time between sessions and days, a four-day trip has been scheduled. It allows for up to 6 hours driving per day with regular stops, including at least 1 stop each day of 1 hr or more and will aim to avoid travel after 4:30 pm. Some sections will involve driving on gravel roads, but an alternative route will be available. Meetings with local historians or visits to relevant sites will be arranged. Budget accommodation will be booked, or participants might prefer to make their own arrangements. Associated activities will be arranged in consultation with participants

There is no fee to be part of the convoy, but participants are expected to cover their own costs. Numbers are required by 30 April 2013 so that arrangements for visits can be confirmed.
